The compas_fab API is split into two groups:

  • Core: the platform-independent modules: robots, robot cells, targets, waypoints, the backend interfaces and built-in back-end implementations.
  • Integrations: CAD-specific bindings for Blender, Rhino and Grasshopper. These depend on the host environment and are only imported when running inside it.
