project_points_line

compas.geometry.project_points_line(points, line)[source]

Project points onto a line.

Parameters:

pointssequence[[float, float, float] | compas.geometry.Point]: XYZ coordinates of the points.
line[point, point] | compas.geometry.Line: Two points defining the projection line.

Returns:

list[[float, float, float]]: XYZ coordinates of the projected points.
